The pre-procedure process is simple. Before your procedure is scheduled, your physician will give you very detailed pre-operative information, explaining about the procedure and any necessary pre-operative tests which will be required. Follow your physician’s instructions, and if you have any questions, please call the office to clarify.
On the day of surgery, arrive at the Facility at your scheduled time. We will assign your arrival time to allow us time to complete all necessary documentation and prepare you for your procedure. Be sure to bring with you a photo ID, your insurance cards, and any co-pays or deductibles, but please leave all other valuables at home.
Please remember that we have several operating rooms and procedure rooms in the facility. It is usual for us to have many physicians working at the same time. You will be admitted in the order scheduled for YOUR physician.
You will need a responsible adult who can receive your discharge instructions and drive you home to be available. After anesthesia, you will not be able to drive yourself. Advise them the facility is cool, please dress for comfort. For our visitor’s convenience, the lobby has free WIFI access. While every case is unique for that patient, as an average, allow about three hours for your stay. If your family member must leave while you are in the facility, please be sure we have contact information where they can be reached at all times.
