About

Dr. Christopher Linberg is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who is dedicated to working with patients to help develop a treatment plan individualized for their goals. He is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy where he excelled both academically and athletically. Dr. Linberg then attended the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine where his academic success led him to be selected for training in orthopaedic surgery. He completed his surgical training at Wayne State University and the prestigious Mayo Clinic. While at the Mayo Clinic, he learned the latest advancements in orthopaedics from the nation’s leading surgeons. His research was published and presented at national meetings. After completing his surgical training, Dr Linberg was assigned to MacDill AFB in Tampa. While there, his skills led him to becoming the Chief of Orthopaedics. His dedication to patients also led him to be selected by his peers to chair the base’s medical ethics function. Dr Linberg had the unique opportunity to deploy to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. While there he performed over 250 surgical cases and participated in over 13 mass causality operations. Most of these cases involved severely injured polytrauma patients. His efforts earned him an Army Commendation Medal.

Care Philosophy

Dr. Linberg treats a wide variety of orthopedic conditions but has a special interest in minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery, sports injuries and joint replacement. He is a firm believer in exhausting non-operative treatment prior to surgery when appropriate.
