Care Philosophy

“My goal is to always provide compassionate, holistic, and patient-centered care of the highest quality. This begins with carefully listening to my patients, paying attention to every detail of their condition, understanding how it affects their lives, and using my best clinical judgement to formulate an effective plan for the fastest recovery possible. When surgery becomes necessary, I use the latest state of the art orthopedic implants and minimally invasive surgical techniques whenever possible, in order to provide my patients with the most durable surgical option, best environment for healing, and optimal postoperative function.

As many of my patients can attest to, I love teaching and patient education. I am passionate about making sure my patients fully understand their condition and treatment options because orthopaedic surgery is a complex, rapidly advancing field of medicine and treatment options can often be confusing for patients. I always take extra time to make sure my patients clearly understand their diagnosis, available non-surgical and surgical options, the treatment plan, surgical details if surgery is necessary, and the recovery process. In my experience, a patient who is well informed about their condition and treatment plan is a more active participant in the recovery process, ultimately leading to achievement of optimal outcomes.

My mission is to always give 100 percent and to work together with my patients to achieve pain-free function; allowing them to enjoy life, comfortably spend time with family and friends, return to work or recreational pursuits, and even get athletes back to high level sports.”
